Customizing preferences

Setting the rear output

The navigation system s rear output can be
used for a full-range speaker or subwoofer
connection. If you switch Rear SP to
Sub. W , you can connect a rear speaker lead
directly to a subwoofer without using an auxili-
ary amp.
Initially, the navigation system is set for a rear
full-range speaker connection ( Full ).
p Both rear speaker leads output and RCA
rear output are switched simultaneously in
this setting. (When you use the product
without RCA rear output, this setting only
applies to the rear speaker leads.)
p Rear SP can be set when all of the follow-
ing conditions are met.
! The AV source is turned off.
! All iPod, smartphone and external sto-
rage devices are not connected to this
navigation system.

Disconnect the iPhone or smartphone
device.

Press the HOME button to display the
"Top Menu" screen.

Touch

The Edit/Settings screen appears.

Touch [AV Settings].
The AV Settings menu appears.

Touch [Rear SP].

Touch [Full] or [Sub. W].
! Full (default):
When no subwoofer is connected to the
rear output, select Full .
! Sub. W
When a subwoofer is connected to the rear
output, select Sub. W .

Adjusting the picture

CAUTION
For safety reasons, you cannot use some of these
navigation functions while your vehicle is in mo-
tion. To enable these functions, you must stop in
a safe place and apply the parking brake. Refer to
Important Information for the User (a separate
manual).
You can adjust the picture for each source and
rear view camera.

Press and hold the MODE button.
The Picture Adjustment screen appears.

Touch the right and left touch panel
keys to make an adjustment.
! Brightness:
Adjusts the black intensity.
! Contrast:
Adjusts the contrast.
! Dimmer:
Adjusts the brightness of display.
! Color Temp.:
Adjusts the tone of color (which color is em-
phasized, red or blue).
! Color:
Adjusts the color saturation.
! Hue:
Adjusts the tone of color (which color is em-
phasized, red or green).
p Touching [Standby] while adjusting the
rear view camera image clears the screen
temporarily.
= For details, refer to Temporarily clearing
the screen (navigation system in standby
mode) on page 22.
