Troubleshooting

Below is a list of some of the possible malfunctions.
If the problem cannot be resolved as described, contact Customer
Services.
Problem
The coffee is not hot. The cups were
The coffee is not
creamy enough.
The coffee is
delivered too slowly
or a drop at a time.
Possible Cause
not preheated.
The brewing
unit has cooled
down because
2/3 minutes have
elapsed since the
last coffee was
made.
The temperature
is set too low.
The coffee is
ground too
coarsely.
Wrong type of
coffee.
The coffee is
ground too finely.
Remedy
Warm the cups by rinsing
them with hot water.
Before making coffee,
preheat the brewing unit
by selecting the "Rinsing"
function on the menu.
Change the set
temperature.
Turn the grinding
adjustment one click
anticlockwise while the
coffee mill is running (fig.
11).
Use a type of coffee for
espresso makers.
Turn the grinding
adjustment one click
clockwise while the coffee
mill is running (fig. 11).
