Connecting your device

For 3G Connections
1.
After completing the hardware installation as
detailed on the front page, open a web browser
(such as Internet Explorer, Firefox or Safari), type
192.168.123.254 into the address bar and press
enter
Enter the default password admin into the system

The APN details for your 3G ISP will automatically update

You will not need to enter any further details into any of the

Your SIM card requires a PIN code
Your 3G ISP requires you to input the username/password
for your 3G connection
You wish to use alternate 3G connection details (such as
special APN)

Press Apply Settings. Wait while the 3G Router applies
these settings
You will be taken to the Status page of the

3G Router
8.
You can check that the connection was successful
if Connected appears in the Link Status under 3G
Modem Information
NOTE:
This may take up to one minute to appear

If connection is successful you are able to browse the
Internet and share your connection wirelessly

For Fixed Line Connections
1.
Connect your fixed line (ADSL/Cable) Modem to the
WAN port on the back of the N3G005W
2.
Open a web browser (such as Internet Explorer, Firefox
or Safari), type 192.168.123.254 into the address bar
and press enter

Enter the default password admin into the system
password field and press Login
Click on the Advanced Setup tab at the top of the

screen
Click on the Basic Settings submenu
5.
Select Primary Setup from the menu on the left of the

screen
7.
Under WAN Type select Dynamic IP Address. Press
Save
8.
Wait 2 minutes for the system to restart
9.
At this stage, you should be connected to the Internet
via fixed line. You can check connection details by
looking under WAN Status on the Status page. If
connected there will be information filling this field.
Establishing a Wireless Connection:
You can connect multiple wireless devices, including laptops,
desktops and PDA's to your N3G007W by following the 2
basic steps.
1.
Using your wireless device, scan the wireless networks in
your area and select the network called netcomm n3g
series, then click connect.
Enter the following default security key: a1b2c3d4e5
2.
Note To ensure wireless security, we recommend you change the default
settings through the Configuration Interface. For more detail,
please consult the User Guide.
