step 1: aLigning the canopy
❑ If you've purchased a pilot figure for your airplane, carefully paint and install it now before installing the canopy.
❑ Remove the cowling from the fuselage and apply a couple of drops of
thin C/A into the three pilot holes to strengthen the surrounding wood.
❑ Slide the cowling back into place and realign it. Install and tighten the
three M2 x 10mm washer-head wood screws to hold the cowling firmly
in place.
❑ Install your muffler, high speed needle valve, propeller and the spinner
assembly, then connect the fuel tubing to your carburetor and muffler.

❑ Airplane Stand
❑ 220 Grit Sandpaper with Sanding Block
❑ Masking Tape
❑ Paper Towels
❑ Cut out the canopy along the molded scribe line, then sand the edges of
the canopy smooth and straight.
❑ For added realism and improved appearance, paint or apply self-adhesive
striping tape to the molded canopy frame.
