IMporTaNT When you install the the landing gear door cover in the next procedure, the straight edge of the landing gear door
cover should be toward the leading edge of the wing.
q Tack-glue one landing gear door cover to the landing gear door cover mounting block. When positioned properly, there should be
a 1/4" (6mm) wide gap between the landing gear door cover and the wing, and the landing gear door cover should be centred from
front-to-back over the wheel.
q Repeat the previous procedures to install the second landing gear door cover assembly onto the other landing gear wire.
opTIoN For a less scale appearance, but for an easier handling aircraft on the ground, carefully bend the landing gear legs forward
so that the axles are 1" (25mm) ahead of the landing gear wire at the mounting base. This will move the wheels forward, making
the aircraft easier to control on the ground.

q Wrap your receiver and battery in foam rubber to protect them from vibration. Use rubber bands to hold the foam rubber in place.
+
Do not wrap the foam rubber too tightly or the vibration dampening quality will be reduced.
IMporTaNT We don't suggest permanently installing the receiver and battery until you have balanced the aircraft. How the aircraft
initially balances will determine where you need to install them.
q After you've found the final location of the receiver and battery, install them into the fuselage using your favorite method.
q Feed your receiver antenna wire into the support tube from inside the radio compartment. If your receiver antenna wire is
longer than the support tube, allow the excess to hang out of the fuselage. Do not cut your receiver antenna wire shorter.
IMporTaNT If you're using a 2.4GHz radio control system, refer to your radio control system's User's Guide for information on
antenna placement.
q Mount the switch to the fuselage side and connect the battery lead to the switch, and the switch and servo leads to the receiver.

q Carefully drill two 1/16" (1.5mm) diameter pilot holes through the landing
gear door cover and into the landing gear door cover mounting block, then
secure the landing gear door cover into place, using two M2 x 10mm flange-head
wood screws.
