[1.3] Analogue Upgrade
[1.3.1] Analogue Upgrade Software Setup
Refer to "File types and Hardware/Software Requirements" on page 5-1.
1. Copy all files from the CD-ROM to your hard drive. Do not re-organize the file directories.
2. Open ServUpdtArdV_vx_x.exe. The application should open with no errors. Close the application.
3. During the hardware setup (if necessary), you will be prompted to install FTD2XX.*.
[1.3.2] Analogue Upgrade Hardware Setup
1. On the Service PCB, install the jumper to shortcut the X2 jumper position.
2. Connect the Service PCB to the TV by the DB9 connector. (Refer to "Television rear and side view" on page 2-1.)
3. Connect the Aardvark tool to the Service PCB.
4. Connect the USB cable to the Aardvark tool. Connect the other end of the USB cable to the controlling PC.
Note:
Jumper
The first time the Aardvark tool is connected to the controlling PC, Windows may prompt
for missing drivers. Browse to the "\driver" directory on the service jigs CDROM and select
the requested drivers (FTD2XX.*).
