Cold - The Cold setting is designed to provide water at a specific minimum temperature.
If the incoming water temperature

lower than this, hot water is added to raise the temperature
Tap Cold - VVater is taken directly from the cold water inlet, with no adiustment to the temperature.

seasonally and by region, depending on conditions
