D Keyer set mode
This set mode is used to set the memory keyer repeat
time, dash weight, paddle specifications, keyer type,
etc.
• Setting contents
q During the CW mode operation, push [KEYER] (F-3)
to select the memory keyer screen.
w Push [EXIT/SET] to select the memory keyer
menu, then push [CW KEY] (F-4) to select the

keyer set mode.

e Push [Y] (F-1) or [Z] (F-2) to select the desired
set item.
r Set the desired condition using the main dial.
• Hold down [DEF] (F-4) for 1 second to select the
default condition or value.
t Push [EXIT/SET] twice to return to the normal
screen.

Keyer Repeat Time

When sending CW using the repeat timer, this item
sets the time between transmission.
Dot/Dash Ratio
This item sets the dot/dash ratio.
Keying weight example: Morse code "K"

*SPACE and DOT length can be
adjusted with [KEY SPEED] only.

Rise Time

This item sets the rise time of the transmitted CW
waveform.

• 1 to 60 seconds in 1 second steps can be selected.
(default: 2 seconds)

• 1:1:2.8 to 1:1:4.5 (in 0.1 steps) can be selected.
(default: 1:1:3.0)

• 2, 4, 6, 8 or 10 milliseconds can be selected.
(default: 4 milliseconds)
Key clicks on nearby frequencies can be generated
if the rise time of a CW waveform is too short.
