Special Function Buttons
n FUNCTION button
Use this button to enable access to the special function buttons described below.
n DELAYED TX button 01
Press this button to register a time for delayed sending.
n PWD/SUBADD button 02
Press this button to send a document using a password and subaddress based on the ITU-T
standard.
n MEMORY REF button 03
Use this button to delete or resend documents stored in memory, or to print a list of
documents in memory.
n REPORT button 04
Use this button to print activity reports.
n D.T. button 05
Press this button to confirm the dial tone when dialling a number. (Not used in the UK, Hong
Kong, Australia, New Zealand, Singapore, or Malaysia.)
n TONE/+ button 09
Press this button to use tone dialling temporarily when your unit is set for pulse dialling. Press
also to enter a + sign when registering your fax/telephone number.

(Arrow) buttons 10 and 12
n
Use these buttons to scroll through menu selections or to move the cursor when registering
data.

n
Press this button to dial an outside line access number when the unit is connected through a
switchboard (PBX).
