To Detach and Attach the Foot Holder
To Detach
Remove the setscrew
by turning the screw
counter-clockwise with
the screwdriver.

To Attach
Align the hole in the foot
holder with the threaded
hole in the presser bar and
fit the foot holder screw into
the hole. Tighten the screw
by turning it clockwise.

Finger Guard

To Detach

For your safety, the machine is
equipped with the finger guard.
Finger guard is not illustrated

on other pages.
Raise the foot.
Loosen the foot holder setscrew
and remove the finger guard.
Tighten the setscrew.
Janome sewing machine
To Attach
Raise the foot.
Loosen the foot holder setscrew and
attach the finger guard to the foot
holder.
Tighten the setscrew lightly and lower
the foot.
Push the finger guard down to the
needle plate and tighten the setscrew
firmly.
