Section 3 - Configuration
The MAC (Media Access Controller) Address filter option is used to control network access based on the MAC Address of the
client device. This feature can be configured to ALLOW or DENY network/Internet access for this client. Click Save.Settings to
apply your settings.
Configure MAC
Select how the rule will work: Turn.MAC.Filtering.OFF,.Turn.
Filtering below:
MAC.Filtering.ON.and.ALLOW.computers,.or.Turn.MAC.
Filtering.ON.and.DENY.computers.listed.
Rule:
Check the box to enable the rule.
MAC Address:
Enter the MAC Address of the device that the rule will affect.
You can also choose from the DHCP.Client.List drop-down
box.
Computer Name:
Type a custom name for the client.
Schedule:
This sets the schedule for when the filter will be enabled.
The schedule may be set to Always, which will allow the
particular service to always be enabled. You can create
your own times by clicking Add. New. as well as in the
Maintenance > Schedules section.
