Confirm that the printer is on, and then press the
- button.
The Maintenance menu is displayed.

Press the d/u buttons to highlight Head
Cleaning Set, and then press the r button.

Press the r button.
D
Press the d/u buttons to highlight Yes, and then
press the Z button.
When you press the Z button, the platen and
the print head move to the maintenance position.
Replace the parts in the following order; wiper
unit, anti-drying caps, and then flushing pad.

Open the printer cover.
B
Unpack the new wiper unit.
C
Put on the gloves supplied with the head cleaning
set.
Maintenance

Place your fingers into the groove at the back of
the wiper unit, and raise it a little towards you.
E
Grip the wiper unit and remove it.
F
Wrap the old wiper unit in the packaging of the
new wiper unit.
