Problems with the seat heating
Problem
The seat heating has
switched off prema-
turely or cannot be
switched on.
Switching the seat ventilation on/off
Switching on/off
Driver's and front-passenger seat
The three blue indicator lamps in the buttons
indicate the ventilation level you have selec-
ted.
Turn the SmartKey to position 1 or 2 in the
X
ignition lock (
To switch on: press button : repeatedly
X
until the desired ventilation level is set.
To switch off: press button : repeatedly
X
until all the indicator lamps go out.

If the battery voltage is too low, the seat
ventilation may switch off.
i
Coupe: you can open the side windows
and the panorama roof with power tilt/slid-
ing panel using the "Convenience opening"
feature (
page 97). The seat ventilation of
Y
the driver's seat automatically switches to
the highest level.
Possible causes/consequences and M M Solutions
The on-board voltage is too low because too many electrical con-
sumers are switched on.
Switch off electrical consumers that you do not need, such as
X
the rear window defroster or interior lighting.
Once the battery is sufficiently charged, the seat heating will
switch back on automatically.

Y
Cabriolet: you can open the soft top and the
rear side windows with the SmartKey
(
page 102). The seat ventilation of the
Y
driver's seat automatically switches to the
highest level.
