Note
regarding fault code 17978:
The immobilizer control unit is located in the dash
panel insert and cannot be replaced individually.
When attempting to start with a non-adapted key a
static fault is stored in the memory. If a subsequent
start attempt occurs with an adpated key the fault is
changed to a sporadic fault.
