RIGGING
An important feature of the DD12 is that it may either be used in horizontal orientation
('landscape'), vertical orientation ('portrait') or as a floor monitor. The ex-factory configuration
is for 'portrait' mode use; if the cabinet is to be used horizontally, the HF horn unit should
be removed, rotated through 90°, and re-attached. This will ensure that the cabinet's design
dispersion characteristics are retained.
Important: the IP rating of the IP24-rated version of the DD12 is only valid when it is used in
vertical orientation. The DD12 should not be used in outdoor or other inclement environments
either in horizontal orientation, or as a floor monitor.
The horn includes two sets of icons to indicate the correct orientation for each deployment
method.
