NOTE:
Turn the crankshaft slowly.

1. Measure:
8 crankshaft runout
Out of specification
shaft, bearing or both.
Maximum crankshaft runout
0.03 mm ( 0.001 in )
2. Measure:
8 big end side clearance
Out of specification
bearing, crankshaft pin, or connecting rod.
Big end side clearance
0.15~0.45 mm (0.006~0.018 in)
3. Measure:
8 crankshaft width
Out of specification
shaft.
Crankshaft width
42.45~42.50 mm (1.671~1.673 in)
4. Check:
8 crankshaft sprocket 1
Damage/wear
8 bearing 2
Cracks/damage/wear
crankshaft.
8 oil pump drive gear
Damage/wear
ENG
Replace the crank-
Replace the big end
Replace the crank-
Replace the crankshaft.
Replace the
