Installing The Upper Case - Yamaha F100C Service Manual

Muffler assembly bolt B:
20 N·m (2.0 kgf·m, 14 ft·lb)

Installing the upper case

1. Install the upper mount 1 and bolts 2
into the upper case.
2. Install the bolts 3, and then tighten them
to the specified torque.

Upper mount bolt 3:
26 N·m (2.6 kgf·m, 19 ft·lb)
3. Install the lower mounts 4 to the upper
case.
4. Install the mount cover 5.
5. Install the upper and lower mounting
bolts into the swivel bracket 6 simulta-
neously.

6. Install the upper mounting nut 7 and
lower mounting nut 8, and then tighten
them to the specified torques.
NOTE:
Before tightening the lower mounting nut, be
sure to connect the ground lead to the lower
mounting bolt.
7. Install the oil pump assembly 9.

Lower mounting nut 8:
73 N·m (7.3 kgf·m, 53 ft·lb)
Oil pump bolt 0:
11 N·m (1.1 kgf·m, 8.0 ft·lb)
