Before You Begin
CAUTION
If you are installing this motherboard in a
chassis, see Appendix A for regulatory
requirements and installation instructions
and precautions.

Always follow the steps in each procedure in
the correct order.
•
Set up a log to record information about your
computer such as model, serial numbers,
and installed options. If you need this
information, it will be easier to consult the log
than to open up the computer.
•
We recommend you use an antistatic wrist
strap and a conductive foam pad when
working on the motherboard.
