Corrective Action
The feed unit of the optional paper feeder is not installed correctly. Open the
paper feeder paper cassette and correct the problem. This message appears
only when the PF-647 paper feeder is installed on the printer.
Clean the registration roller or main charger unit and then press the GO key.

The cover of the optional document finisher (DF-600/610) is open. Close
the cover.
The front cover is open. Close the cover.
The left cover of the printer is open. Close the cover.
The indicated right cover of paper feeder is open. Covers are indicated by
values in place of #, from 1 (topmost) to 3 (bottom). Close the applicable
cover.
You trying to perform duplex printing while a paper size and/or type that is
not allowed for duplex printing is selected. Press the GO key to print on one
side of the paper only.
The duplex drawer of the optional Duplex Unit is not inserted correctly.
Correct the problem and try again.
The face-down tray(which can hold approximately 500 sheets) is full.
Remove all printed pages from the face-down tray. The printer will resume
printing to the face-down tray when it detects that it is empty.
The feed unit of the optional paper feeder is not installed. Open the paper
feeder paper cassette and correct the problem. This message appears only
when the PF-647 paper feeder is installed on the printer.
The data you are trying to print from a virtual mailbox does not exist, or the
virtual mailbox you specified does not exist. If Auto Continue is turned on,
printing will resume resumed after a preset amount of time. For details about

The indicated (##) tray of the optional document finisher (DF-600/610) is
full. Remove all printed pages from the tray.
The optional document finisher (DF-600/610) is not installed properly. Cor-
rect the problem, referring to the instructions supplied with the document
finisher.
The memory card in printer's card slot is not formatted. To format a memory
card, perform the procedure under
3-42.
The hard disk installed in the printer is not formatted. Format the hard disk
following the procedure in the hard disk Installation Guide.
A hard disk error of the type indicated by the error code that appears in place
of ## has occurred. Refer to
