Indicates the number of copies set in the current interface (001 – 999), and the number is reduced as
printing proceeds.
Refer to the table below for the names and meanings of indicators on the control panel.

Face-down tray
Toner indicator
Name
Flashing: Indicates that paper is jammed near the face-
indicator down output tray.
Lit: indicates when printed pages are delivered to the face-
down output tray.
Face-up tray Flashing: Indicates that paper is jammed near the face-up
indicator output tray.
Lit: indicates when printed pages are delivered to the face-
up output tray.
Flashing: Indicates there is insufficient toner
Lit: Indicates that the printer is out of toner. Replace with
a new toner container.
Cassette feed Flashing: Indicates that the cassette is not installed
indicator properly or there is no paper in the cassette or that paper
is jammed in the paper feed cassette.
Lit: Indicates paper is being fed from the paper feeder
(ST-1000).
