Copy Indicator

Indicates the number of copies set in the current interface (001 – 999), and the number is reduced as
printing proceeds.
Refer to the table below for the names and meanings of indicators on the control panel.
Indicators on the Control Panel
Indicator
Face-down tray
Toner indicator
Name
Flashing: Indicates that paper is jammed near the face-
indicator
down output tray.
Lit: indicates when printed pages are delivered to the face-
down output tray.
Face-up tray
Flashing: Indicates that paper is jammed near the face-up
indicator
output tray.
Lit: indicates when printed pages are delivered to the face-
up output tray.
Flashing: Indicates there is insufficient toner
Lit: Indicates that the printer is out of toner. Replace with
a new toner container.
Cassette feed
Flashing: Indicates that the cassette is not installed
indicator
properly or there is no paper in the cassette or that paper
is jammed in the paper feed cassette.
Lit: Indicates paper is being fed from the paper feeder
(ST-1000).
