Using HDMF CEC Contro
3 Press the A/Y (arrow) buttons to select Initial Speaker Setting
and press the OK button.
4 Press the &/Y (arrow) buttons to select Amplifier.
NOTE
Confirmthata connected HDMI _ > CECdevice (suchasDVDplayer, e tc.)is
selected fortheAmplifierinputsource.
NOTN o:, Youcanalsousethis functionwhentheaudiosystemis connected to
theTV'sDIGITAL A UDIOOUT terminal(not HDMI ® connection).

When Enable HDMI CEC Control and all items in the HDMI _ CEC
Control Setup menu are set to On, the following functions will be
enabled:

Description:
If an HD*M_'[®' CECdeviceis turnedon,theTVturnson automatically.
If theTVis turnedoff,it will senda message t o turn off all ofthe
HDMI ® CECdevices connected to theTV.
If Amplifier Controlis setto On,youcanadjustthesoundvolumeor
turn off thesoundusingtheremote control.
With this item,you cansetyouraudiooutputpreference t o theTV
Speakers o r theAmplifier.Whenthis itemis setto Amplifier, t he
remote controlcanbe usedto adjustor mutethevolumeof theaudio.
Theremote controlwill onlycontroltheamplifier,if an HDMI ® CEC
compatible audiosystemis connected.
NOTE Whenyouturn on theaudiosystem, c hangeits inputsource,or adjustthe
soundvolume,thesoundwill beoutputfromtheaudiosystem's speakers
evenif TVSpeakers h asbeen selected. T urntheTVoff andon againto
outputthe soundfromtheTVspeakers.
