Use the USB cable to connect the VariOS to your computer.

Set the VariOS's power switch to the ON position.

The Add New Hardware Wizard dialog box will appear.
Click [Next].

Select "Search for the best driver for
your device," and click [Next].

Check the "Specify a location" box,
input the following into the location field,
and click [Next].
D:\ENGLISH\DRIVER\USB_98ME

The screen will indicate "Windows driver
file search for the device: Roland VariOS USB Driver."
Click [Next].

The screen will indicate "Windows has finished installing the software
that your new hardware device requires."
Click [Finish].

The drive name "D:" may
be different depending on
your system. Type the
name of your CD-ROM
drive.
