Setting the timer start time

Set the hours' place to "PM12".

• The "PM12" in the hours' place is
stored in the memory.

• The start time is stored in the memory, and the end time
can now be set.

Set the timer standby mode to on or off.
• "ON" or "OFF" (the one that has been selected) flashes.
/ SELECT
Select "ON" if you want the timer to operate. (When set
to "ON", the
T.StdbyON OFF
Select ON/OFF. If an operation is not performed within 4
seconds, the setting will be made automatically and there
will be a return to the normal display. (Operation 15 is not
necessary.)

Press the TIMER/SET button.
• This completes the setting of the
timer.

Turn off the main unit's power.
• The power is set to the standby
mode.
• If the timer standby mode is set to
"ON", the power LED is lit orange.
• The disc starts playing when the
timer start time is reached.

return to step 3, and start over from there.
NOTES:
• If the current time is not set, the timer standby setting cannot
be set to "ON". Be sure to set the current time before turning
on the timer.
• The timer will operate as long as it is turned on, even if the time
setting is off due to a power failure. If you want the timer to
operate correctly, be sure the current time is properly set.
• If the timer start time is reached while the power is turned on,
the set operates as set for the timer. (The timer settings are
/ SELECT
given priority.)
• Be sure to set the power to the standby mode to operate the
timer.
2 To Listen to the TUNER with the Everyday Timer
• Set "Timer TUNER" in Step 4, then press the TIMER/SET
button.
