When replacing the system board, be sure to remove the following components from the defective system
board and install on the replacement system board:

Remove the system board:
1.
Position the computer upright with the front toward you.
2.
Disconnect the following cables from the system board:
(1) Power connector cable
(2) Display cable
(3) Battery connector cable
3.
Remove the hillips PM2.5×4.0 screw (1) that secures the system board, the broadhead Phillips
PM2.0×3.0 screw (2) that secures the optical drive extension board, and the broadhead Phillips
PM2.0×3.0 screw (3) that secures the hard drive extension board to the computer.
