Note 1: A single beep is produced to signify that the radar has accepted your
command. Two beeps sound in case of incorrect key operation.
Note 2: The key labels AIS MENU and AIS DATA provided with the RP-340
should be attached to the radar control head.

Display Modes

The RP-340 has three display modes: Radar, Video Plotter and Radar/Video
Plotter (Combination). Use the [VIDEO PLOT] key to choose a display, in the
sequence shown in the illustration below. (When the video plotter mode is
displayed more than five seconds, the radar automatically goes into standby.)
Radar Display
Note 1: A display cannot be selected when a menu is open. Close the menu
(with the [NAV MENU] key) to choose a display.
Note 2: The video plotter feature is not available when the radar map function is
active ("MAP" appears at the right side of screen). To use the video
plotter feature, press the [VIDEO PLOT] key to choose the Radar/Video
Plotter or Video Plotter display ("MAP" disappears).
Note 3: Only the radar display is available on the IMO type radar.
