Replacing the Battery on the RP Board

A battery installed on the RP board inside the radar display unit preserves video
plotter setting data when the power is turned off. The life of the battery is about
five years. When the battery voltage is low, NG (No Good) appears at the
diagnostic test for the RP board. Contact your dealer about replacement, at your
earliest convenience.

System Error

If the equipment fails, the message "RP SYSTEM ERROR" appears (in red) at
the bottom right-hand corner of the display, the equipment switches to the radar
mode and the audible alarm sounds. When this occurs, turn the display unit off
and on again. If the above message does not appear, the equipment is operating
normally. However, if the video plotter or radar/video plotter mode is inoperative
or the above message appears, the RP is malfunctioning. Contact your dealer
for advice.
