Access Point Settings
(AP Settings)
You can perform the setting to use the wireless adapter
as an access point.
"WLAN Device Name"
Displays the name of the used wireless LAN module.
"Channel Select"
You can change the wireless LAN channel.
"Auto" selects Ch1 to Ch13 automatically, and "Channel
Select" allows you to set Ch1 to Ch13 manually.
Note
Depending on the country/region, some channels cannot
be used.
"SSID"
Displays the wireless adapter's SSID.
"Key"
You can change the wireless adapter's password.
8 to 63 alphanumeric characters can be used.

Wireless LAN Settings

You can perform the setting for connecting to the
wireless LAN.
"Host Name"
Displays the host name of the wireless adapter.
"SSID"
Input the SSID of the access point to which the wireless
adapter connects.
WPA and WPA2 are available for the authentication.
"Key"
Input the password for the access point.
"DHCP"
Set the DHCP setting.
When you set to "On," the IP address is assigned to the
wireless adapter automatically. To assign the IP address
to the wireless adapter manually, set to "Off."
"IP Address"
Input the IP address of the wireless adapter. This setting
is available only when "DHCP" is set to "Off."
"Subnet mask"
Input the subnet mask of the wireless adapter. This
setting is available only when "DHCP" is set to "Off."
"Gateway"
Input the default gateway for the access point. This
setting is available only when "DHCP" is set to "Off."
"DNS Auto"
Set the DNS automatic acquisition function.
The DNS server address is acquired automatically by
setting to "On."
