PLAYING A SOURCE
When using the remote control, set the selector dial to
the AMP/TUN position
Front panel
or
Remote control
Select the desired input
source with INPUT
SELECTOR (or the input
selector buttons). (Turn on
the TV monitor for video
sources.)
The name of the selected input
source appears for a moment
and the arrow for the selected
input source indicator lights up
on the display

- Pless TAPE/MD MON / EXT DECODER twice (at TAPE/MD
once) to tUln off the "TAPE/MD MONITOR" indicatOl
- Ptess TAPE/MD MON / EXT DECODER once

• If you select and playa video soutce when the "TAPE/MD
MONITOR" indicatOl lights up, the play back tesult will be a
video image flOm the video soutce and the sound flOm the audio
soutce connected to the TAPE/MD IN (PLAY) tetminals
• A video SOillce cannot be selected when "EXT DECODER" is
shown on the display If you want to enjoy an audio SOlllce
connected to the EXTERNAL DECODER INPUT tellninals
togethel with a video SOUlce, fitst select the video SOUlce and then
select the SOUlce connected to the EXTERNAL DECODER
INPUT tet minals
