Replacing the power supply

To replace the power supply:

Disconnect the drive cables, noting their locations and orientation. (You will reconnect the
cables after you install the new drive.)
Move the drive release latch up (away from the center of the bracket) to the Unlock position,
then slide the drive out of the drive bracket to remove it.
Note any jumper settings on the old drive and set the jumper on the new drive to be the
same.
Slide the new drive into the drive bay, then slide the drive release latch down (toward the
center of the bracket) to the Lock position.
Reconnect the drive cables using your notes from
Replace the metal reinforcing beam/hard drive assembly, being careful not to pinch the
hard drive cables, then replace the bezel.
Replace the side panel by following the instructions in
page
126.
Reconnect all external cables and the power cord, then turn on your computer.

You need a Phillips screwdriver to replace the power supply.
