Troubleshooting

7.1 Paper Feed Problems

7.1.1 Wrong Print Position

Printing begins at the wrong position on the paper.
Possible Cause
1.
Defective feed sensor.

3.
Defective or damage paper separator pad.

Solution
a.
Replace the defective acutator/sensor.
Description:
Paper does not leave the tray.
Jam 0 occurs if the paper is fed into the printer.
Solution
a.
Use Tech Mode to test the solenoid.
Replace the solenoid if defective.
b.
Check the cassette or bypass tray knock up
plate. Repair or replace as required.
c.
Clean the separator pad, or replace as
required.
d.
Replace the tray if defective.
e.
Clean the pick rollers. Replace if defective.
f.
Ensure all rollers are free from debris and
rotating freely.
g.
Check the SMPS, main board and all
connections. Replace any defective parts.
