Compatibility with Blu-ray disc (BD)
The new camcorder is compatible with BD discs (BD-R and BD-RE) that have a recording capacity
fi ve times that of a DVD.
High-defi nition (HD) images can be recorded
High-defi nition images (1920 x 1080 resolution) can be recorded on BD and HDD
*1: DZ-BD7HA only. The DZ-BD70A does not have a HDD.
High-resolution 5.3 mega pixel CMOS sensor mounted
The 1/2.8-inch CMOS sensor has approx. 5,300,000 total pixels, 2,070,000 effective for movies, and
4,320,000 effective for stills.
DZ-BD7HA has a built-in 30 GB HDD.
The DZ-BD7HA incorporates a 1.8-inch, 30 GB HDD for recording movies. It allows recording of
high-resolution (1920 x 1080) images for approx. four hours.
Incompatible with +RW
No recording can be made on +RW, nor can a +RW recorded on another model be played back.
