5.2.8.1 Alarm Setup

HDD LOSS: Options are ON or OFF. If you select ON, there will be a buzzer sound and "H"
sign on screen when HDD is not detected or not formatted. If this option is set to OFF,
only an "H" sign will be displayed to indicate HDD is not found or not detected.
HDD SPACE: Options are ON or OFF. When the alarm function is set to ON, the alarm
will sound when the HDD is running out of space; when the function is set to OFF, no
alarm will sound.
VIDEO LOSS: Options are ON or OFF. When the function is set to ON, system will sound
the alarm and display video loss on the preview interface. When the function is set to
OFF, system alarm will not sound, but the preview interface will display video loss.
ALARM MANAGE: OUTPUT (0s, 10s, 20s, 40s, 60s), BUZZER (0s, 10s, 20s, 40s, 60s)
and DURATION (0s, 30s, 1minute, 2minute, 5minute).
EMAIL SETUP: There is also an option for the DVR to send an e-mail to a specific mails
box when the alarm is triggered. To enable this option, follow these steps:
DEFILADE ALARM SETUP: This option allows to enable an alarm for recording purposes
but the sounded alarm will not go off once the alarm is triggered.

5.2.8.2 Info.

Click "MAIN MENU" " "ADVANCE" " "ALARM"
to setup the default system language. I/O
STATUS ! Options include NO (Normal-Open), NC
(Normal-close) and OFF. Depending the type of
external sensor alarm you are using, set this option
according to your external sensor alarm. If you are
not using an external sensor alarms, set this option
to "OFF". You can use the DVRs internal motion
detection to record when motion is detected and you
do not need to use an external sensor alarm.
Click the "EMAIL SETUP" button under ALARM
SETUP.
Set the e-mail account information of your mail
server. Please contact your Network
Administrator for details and configuration
settings.
Click "APPLY" to save the settings.
Click "MAIN MENU" " "ADVANCE" " "INFO" to
access the system information of your DVR.
