How SonicWALL CDP Local Archiving Works

Local archiving is a separate software tool that allows you to archive some or all of the contents
of an upstream (offsite) or downstream (local) SonicWALL CDP appliance onto a USB device.
This feature can also be used to create a portable backup that can be restored at another site
that does not have a SonicWALL CDP appliance. Data can be archived to the USB device in
encrypted format.
The Local Archive Manager application is installed on an agent system as part of a Complete
installation of the SonicWALL CDP Agent software. For more information about Local Archiving,
