Pull
the
saw
blade
through
the
workpiece
to the
distance
shown
below.

12. Support
and hold the workpiece
down
and against
the fence firmly with your left
hand.
13. Pull blade through
fence and workpiece
just enough
to complete
the cut. Fig 147.
14. Return
saw to its rearmost
position
and
continue
to hold the saw handle.
15. Turn saw off.
16. Wait for the blade to stop turning.
17. Remove
yellow key form red switch.
10. Insert yellow
key into red switch.
11. Turn saw on.

Crosscuts
To make repetitive
crosscuts:
1. Use two pieces of 1 inch by 2 by 2 inch
lumber.
2. Use a C clamp to clamp
one piece on each
side of the lower right edge of the radial arm.
3. Clamp pieces
of lumber
at the distance
necessary
to complete
the crosscut.
