Changing a Password:
Select [l] or [2].
OLD PASSWORD : =
The above is displayed only when changing a password using System
Reset/Clear password.
Enter the current password.
Maximum 8 characters
NEW PASSWORD : =
Enter the new password.
VERIFICATION : =
Enter the password again for verification.
Notes:
l
The password you entered does not appear on the screen for security
reason.
l
Pressing [RETURN] instead of entering a password means the
password has been reset.
l
The VPS does not distinguish the capital letter from the small letter.
Set Time (TIME)
Used to set the correct system date and time to ensure accurate scheduling. A
number of functions.require that the system time and date be set correctly in order
to operate properly. These include message waiting notification, external message
delivery, call-retries-after initial-failure-to-connect, and automatic deletion of mes-
sages.
Type "TIME", then press [RETURN].
