Place the removed waste toner box on a level surface.
IMPORTANT:

Never lay the waste toner box on its side as this may cause its malfunction or toner spills.

Open the top cover.

Put your fingers through the loops on both sides of the belt unit, and then pull it out.

At the rear of inside the printer, clean the CTD sensor with a clean dry cotton swab.
