6) Check torsión of connecting rod on Points (A) and (B) of the

7) Check flexion of connecting rod on Points (C) and (D) of the
D

piston pin (G-4) as follows:
• Contact with measuring tip of dial gauge (H) on Point (A)
of piston pin (connecting rod resting in bar G-1). Apply a
pre-advance ~ 0,5 mm and adjust comparator to zero.
• Displace connecting rod am (7) and mandril (G-2) to take
reading in opposite Point (B). Difference of readings
between Points(A) and (B) should not be above specified.
Maximum torsion of connecting rod:
0,08 mm
piston pin (G-4) as follows:
• Place connecting rod (7) in vertical position. Place
measuring tip on Point (C) of piston pin (G-4).
• Passing by Point (C), move connecting rod to rear and
front. Put comparator to zero at the highest height detected.
• Displace connecting rod (7) and mandril (G-2) to take reading
in opposite Point (C).
• Passing by Point (D), move connecting rod to rear and
front noting the reading. Difference of measurements
between Point (C) and (D) must not be above specification.
Maximum flexion of connecting rod:
0,08 mm
