Display window
1 The "USB" indicator lights up when a USB
device is selected as the source.
2 Disc format indicators
• The "SVCD" indicator lights up when playing
back an SVCD.

Radio indicators
• The "AM" indicator lights up when an AM
broadcast is received.

broadcast is received with sufficient signal
intensity.
Disabling the demonstration display
When you connect the power cable into the AC outlet, the dem-
onstration display automatically starts in the display window.
Before using this system, turn off the demonstration display.
■When the main unit is turned off
Hold down [DEMO] on the main unit
until "DEMO CLR" appears.
• The
indicator lights up when an FM broad-
cast is received in monaural.
The

function is activated.
Timer indicators
• The
indicator lights up when the playback
timer is ready or being set, and flashes when
the playback timer is working.
• The "1", "2" or "3" indicator lights up when the
playback timer is ready or working, and
flashes when the playback timer is being set.

sleep timer is activated.
The "REC" indicator lights up when recording
starts.
The "MIC" indicator lights up when the micro-
phone mixing function is activated.
The "V.MASK" indicator lights up when the
vocal masking function is activated.
The "C.VOICE" indicator lights up when the
clear voice function is activated.
The "PG" or "PL" indicator lights up when an
original program or play list is selected.
The "PRGM" indicator lights up when the pro-
gram playback function is activated.
The "RND" indicator lights up when the random
playback function is activated.

when the repeat playback function is activated.
The "A.STBY" indicator lights up when the auto
standby function is ready, and flashes when the
auto standby function is working.
