Leaving the top down and
exposing the vehicle's interior
to outdoor conditions can

CAUTION
Do not raise or lower the top
while the vehicle is moving. You
could damage the top or the
top mechanism. The repairs
would not be covered by the
warranty. Always shift an auto-
matic transmission into P (Park)
or a manual transmission into N
(Neutral) before raising or
lowering the convertible top.
NOTICE
Do not lower the top if it is
damp, wet, or dirty. When the
top is down, trapped water can
cause stains, mildew and
damage to the inside of your
vehicle. Be sure to dry off the
top before you lower it.
Do not lower the top in cold
weather (-18° C or lower) to
avoid damaging top
components.
Note:
If electrical power to the
windows is interrupted, you'll
need to reprogram the window
indexing feature for each power
window.
Otherwise, the convertible top
will not operate.
See "Windows" earlier in this
section for more information.
