Operating Tips

Before using the air conditioning
system, open the windows for a
few minutes to permit hot air to
escape. Close the windows when
using the air conditioning system.
Keep the hood and front air inlet
free of ice, snow, leaves or any
other obstruction.
Keep the area at the base of the
instrument panel console and
under the front seats clear of
objects to help air circulate
through the vehicle.
Only use GM-approved hood
deflectors on your vehicle.

Rear Window Defogger

The engine must be running in
order for this feature to work.
For best results, clear the window
of as much ice or snow as possible
before using the rear window
defogger.
Press this button to defog your
rear window. The defogger turns
off by itself after 10 minutes if your
vehicle is travelling under 48 km/h
(30 mph).
If the defogger is reactivated
immediately after completion of
the initial ten minute cycle, it will
only run for five minutes at a time.
To turn it off sooner, press the
button again.
You can also turn the defogger off
by turning off the ignition.
The indicator light on the button
will glow when the system is on.
The outside mirrors are heated
every time the rear defogger is
activated.
