■ WINDSHIELD WIPERS/

WASHER STALK
Windshield Wipers
To control the windshield wipers,
push the large stalk on the right
side of the steering column up or
down.
For a single wiper cycle, push the
stalk downward to , then
release it. For more cycles, hold
the stalk in this position.
For delayed wiper cycles, push the
stalk up to the first position. You
can adjust the interval between
cycles by rotating the dial upward
or downward.
For steady wiper cycles, push the
stalk upward to the second or third
position, depending on the wiper
speed you want.
To turn off the wipers, push the
stalk to the "off" setting .

NOTICE
Clear any ice or snow from the
wiper blades before using them
to prevent damage to the
blades and overloading the
wiper motor.
The wipers are protected by a
circuit breaker. If there is an electri-
cal overload, the wiper system will
stop until the motor cools.
Wiper blades will eventually wear
out and not wipe properly, reduc-
ing forward vision. Replace worn
wiper blades.
