11 Normal Operation Mode Controls

From the normal operation screen, you can use the "soft keys" to
do the following:
• Radio Silent. Turn the radio on or off (enable/disable).
• Reset. Reset the system.
• Alarm Silent. Silence the alarm.
• Check. Get alarm details.

11.1 Radio Silent (Enable/Disable)

The radio can be turned off so that it cannot transmit or receive.
1. Press the Radio Silent/left arrow button.
A warning screen is shown.
2. Enter the 4-digit password (the default is 1234).
3. Press Enter.
The icon changes from the enabled state to the disabled state (see
Display Icons, page 26), and the screen button says "Radio
Enable" instead of "Radio Silent." To change the state from
disabled back to enabled, follow the same procedure.

11.2 Reset

This resets (reboots) the system.
1. Press the Reset/up-arrow button.
2. Enter the 4-digit password (the default is 1234).
3. Press Enter.
The system is now reset
