– The desired temperature setting. (heating or cooling).
– Energy conserving setpoints for certain periods of the day.
– Liquid crystal display
– Factory settings for various periods. (easily changed)
– Portion of the day when different setpoints may be desired.

– The difference in degrees between the cooling and heating
setpoints (min. 4°F). For the typical setpoints of 78° cooling
and 72° heating the dead band is (78 – 72) or 6°F.
– Computer control and/or monitoring of the air conditioning system.
