REMOVING THE ELECTRONIC OVEN CONTROL

WARNING
Electrical Shock Hazard
Disconnect from electrical supply before servic-
ing unit.
Failure to do so could result in death or electrical
shock.
CAUTION: When you work on the gas range, be
careful when handling the sheet metal parts. Sharp
edges may be present, and you can cut yourself if
you are not careful.
1. Pull the range away from the wall so that you
can access the back.
2. Turn off the gas to the range and disconnect
the power cord from the wall outlet.
3. From behind the range, remove the upper
access cover.

Without disconnecting any wires, remove the
mounting screws from the electronic oven
control and remove it from the back of the
console.
Mount the new electronic oven control to the
upper console and install the knob (if appli-
cable) on the control shaft.
Unplug the connectors from the old electronic
oven control, and reconnect them to the new
oven control at the same callout (P1, P2, etc.)
location.
Reassemble the range.
