REMOVING THE PRESSURE REGULATOR
WARNING
Electrical Shock Hazard
Disconnect from electrical supply before servic-
ing unit.
Failure to do so could result in death or electrical
shock.
CAUTION: When you work on the gas range, be
careful when handling the sheet metal parts. Sharp
edges may be present, and you can cut yourself if
you are not careful.
1. Pull the range away from the wall so that you
can access the back.
2. Turn off the gas to the range and disconnect
the power cord from the wall outlet.
3. Remove the grates from the maintop.
4. Remove the maintop from the range (use the
procedure on page 3-4).

5. Remove the screw from the gas manifold
bracket that is next to the pressure regulator.

6. Disconnect the gas line fitting from the pres-
sure regulator.
7. Unscrew the pressure regulator from the end
of the gas manifold and mount the new one in
its place. NOTE: Apply pipe sealant that is
recognized by U.L. to the threads of the pres-
sure regulator.
8. Mount the gas line fitting to the pressure
regulator.
9. Reassemble the range.
