Section 3 - Configuration
Choose Russia PPTP (Dual Access) from the My Internet Connection is drop-down menu if your ISP is based in
Russia and uses a PPTP connection. The PPTP setup screen will appear in the middle of the same page. Your ISP
will provide you with a username and password. This option is typically used for Russian DSL services.
Address
Select Static IP if your ISP assigned you the
Mode:
IP address, subnet mask, gateway, and DNS
server addresses. If not (in most cases), select
Dynamic IP.
PPTP IP
Enter the IP address (Static PPTP only).
Address:
PPTP Subnet
Enter the Subnet Mask (Static PPTP only).
Mask:
PPTP Gateway
Enter the Gateway IP address provided by your
IP Address:
ISP (Static PPTP only).
PPTP Server
Enter the Server IP provided by your ISP
IP Address:
(optional).
Username:
Enter your PPTP username. Check the MPPE
box to enable the MPPE encryption protocol
between the DWR-112 and PPTP server.
Password:
Enter your PPTP password and then retype the
password in the next box.
Reconnect
Select either Always-on, On-Demand, or
Mode:
Manual.
