Connect in WiFi Mode

IMPORTANT
Your MiFi came preconfigured with a secure network name and password to
prevent unauthorized access to your mobile broadband service. The unique network name
(SSID) and network password (also called a network key) are printed on the back of the device.
You will need this information to continue.

Press the power button.
Your MiFi powers on and starts up. When the power LED is solid green (or amber) and the
status LED is solid green, the device is ready to connect.

Use your normal WiFi manager on your computer to locate the MiFi network name (from the
back of your device) and select it.
Tip!
The steps to connect to a WiFi network vary by operating system and whether you use the native
application or third-party software. Consult your computer help system if you need assistance.

Click Connect.

Enter the password when requested. (Your operating system may ask for a network or
security key.)
The status LED will blink to show that data is being transmitted and received between the
MiFi and your computer.
If you want to change the settings of your MiFi (such as security type), follow the instructions for
using the MiFi Settings.
The MiFi Settings allow you to see status information and manage many aspects of your network
and MiFi device. [See MiFi Settings
