Steering

The axial ball joint limiters (1) are colour coded for fool proofing purposes. When removing or
replacing the axial ball joint, check that the limiter with the correct colour code is refitted.
Power-assisted steering pump
Do not run the engine without steering fluid in the circuit.
Pump assembly
Do not run the engine without steering fluid in the circuit.
Wiring harnesses
Ensure that the electrical wiring is clean and correctly routed.

Vehicle Identification numbering

The vehicle identification number is bonded in the door frame on the right hand rear wing. The
serial number reminder is visible through the side section of the windscreen. The serial number
is cold stamped on the cross member of the front right hand seat, the cold stamping can be
excessed via a pre-cut flap in the carpet.
