MARKER
This setting allows the user to set the laser light marker used to indicate the barcode scanning position.
0:
Normal
1:
Always
2:
None
When set to Normal, the laser light illuminates at the same time as scanning is performed. The Always
setting is basically identical to Normal, but the laser light flashes for 30 seconds while waiting for scanning
to be performed. When set to None, the laser light does not illuminate.
When set to Always, the BHT consumes more current and the operating time is shorter

when compared to the other two settings. Do not change to this setting unless necessary.
OPTION DATA
When scanning 2D codes, it is possible to append optional data (Option Data) such as the model or error
correction level for that 2D code to the end of the scanned data.
This setting is also valid even when not performing a System mode scan test. Do not

change unless necessary.
Example: If a code read is "QR code, Model 2, Version 5, Error correction level M, and mask number 6,"
then the option data below will follow.

Example: If a code read is "PDF417, Error correction level 4, 12 rows and 2 digits," then the option data
below will follow.
(Data read)... Y1041202
Example: If a code read is "MaxiCode and Mode 4," then the option data below will follow.
