7) Slide the thermodisc/cover assembly into the bracket clip on the underside of the fi rebox. Check that no wire will touch the hot surfaces.

ONCE THE TEMPLATE IS MOUNTED CHECK TO MAKE SURE THE SIDES ARE PLUMB AND 43" (1092mm)

MasonrY coVer plate installation
THE TOP IS ANGLED BACK AT 5 DEGREES
TO ENSURE THAT THE TEMPLATE FITS TIGHT TO THE
UNIT. THE TOP WILL BECOME MORE UPRIGHT AS THE TEMPLATE
IS TIGHTENED TO THE SURROUND MOUNTING BRACKETS
INSTALL FOUR #8x1/2 SCREWS
AT THESE LOCATIONS TO ATTACH
THE SURROUND TEMPLATE SIDES
TO THE TOP.
NOTE:
SIDES SHOULD BE ASSEMBLED
SO THAT THE 3/4" (19mm)
FLANGES ARE ON THE
INSIDE OF THE OPENING.
